Since 1987 John has entered his photography in National and International Salons accumulating over 600 International awards. In 1996 and again in 1997 John was ranked first in the world as the most successful International exhibitor in the Nature Print Sections.

John uses professional Canon EF lenses ranging from 17mm to 400mm. He shoots only in colour, usually Fujichrome velvia & Ektachrome VS slide stock, and more recently - digital capture.
